After some experiments, I found out HDR is not that easy to balance. This is to me a well balanced example. The gold reflection is superb and the one down the bottom right is color-wise perfect.

really good perspective and composition to keep a lot of the ice texture in the photo while managing to get the clouds and sun in the background as well - great colours make it even better!

Stefan - great job with the HDR. I've been using Photomatix Pro. I think the key to great HDR's is that they don't look like they are HDR's. Many shooters go over the top and it looks fake. You did a beautiful job here.
